This gorgeous couple had a destination wedding in Mexico this summer. While they did have gorgeous images from their beach wedding they wanted to have bride and groom portraits in Chicago as well. We were up before the sun and explored the city and captured some special moments for them. From North Avenue Beach to Millennium Park we squeezed in quite a few of Chicago’s wonderful landmarks. The beach path was actually quite crowded with morning joggers, however there wasn’t another soul in Millennium  Park. We were able to capture some beautiful wedding pictures at Chicago’s bean sculpture and around the park. We had a blast, thanks again!

Cosmo and I traveled to Michigan to watch two of our close friends get married. If you are lucky enough to know Pat and Ellie (now) Mullins, you know that they are two of the most wonderful people in your life! They are so sincere, kind and just plain awesome. Their wedding took place at Pat’s family’s farm, Middlebrook Farm in Three Oaks,  and it was just breathtaking. Not only was the venue and decor amazing, but the food was one of the best meals I have had in my entire life. Another round of applause to Team Hungrys, you guys rock! I am so thrilled that I was able to attend your beautiful day and that we have known you since the beginning. Congratulations again and I know you two will have a long, happy and successful marriage. I love you both and can’t wait to see you again soon!!!

Here is a tiny sneak peek of this gorgeous bride-to-be. She opted to give her fiance the best wedding gift there is… herself. Honestly, can you think of a better gift? You can put all of your images in a little black book just to share with him. I seriously love the idea and I am sure he will too! Thank you so much J for being an easy model. I am so excited to share this wedding! It has been months since I had seen my favorite California wedding photographer, Malissa, of Ripon Photography and this wedding was just perfect. We work so well together and were given a lot time and creative freedom to photograph this stunning bride and groom. The weatherman said it was going to rain ALL DAY but we got just enough breaks in the rain to capture some lovely images. I had the great pleasure and honor of photographing the wedding of Michael and Monica at Villa Montalvo in Saratoga. It was a beautiful location, a sunny day, and just a gorgeous wedding. I recently flew to Santa Barbara to throw my sister a lovely bachelorette party. We went on a cupcake and wine tasting tour with Santa Barbara Adventure Company and had an amazing time! We tasted at three wineries, had a beautiful catered lunch and ended the day with a cupcake flight at Sarloos and Sons. I mean look at those decadent mini cupcakes, they were so rich. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip, well maybe a little bit less rain ; )

I was so thrilled when this couple told me they wanted their dogs to be a part of their portrait session. Right now, Cosmo and I have a four-legged baby, if and when we ever find ourselves in front of the camera he will absolutely be there with us! So needless to say adding two dogs to an engagement session makes things a little more difficult! We had a blast and you can just feel the love radiated through this couple. The bottom image is my absolute favorite. Every time they go to the dog park they walk across this fallen tree – so it’s kind of like their own family tree. Love, love, love!!!
