Chicago Wedding Photographer | A little rain, a little fun…

I am so excited to share this wedding! It has been months since I had seen my favorite California wedding photographer, Malissa, of Ripon Photography and this wedding was just perfect. We work so well together and were given a lot time and creative freedom to photograph this stunning bride and groom. The weatherman said it was going to rain ALL DAY but we got just enough breaks in the rain to capture some lovely images. As always thank you so much for including me, I can’t wait to see you this weekend (AGAIN!) Miss Maliss! And thank you to Stacy and Evan for including me in your special day =)

California Wedding Photographer | Villa Montalvo Wedding

I had the great pleasure and honor of photographing the wedding of Michael and Monica at Villa Montalvo in Saratoga. It was a beautiful location, a sunny day, and just a gorgeous wedding. Everyone had so much fun and I am so happy that I was able to be a part of their special day. Thank you again, I wish you many years of love and happiness!

This boudoir photo session was so much fun! We got together at a hotel, had champagne, strawberries and a complete blast!!! With Father’s day right around the corner, contact me for details on an exclusive gift for the special man in your life or if you want to host a boudoir party with your friends. All sessions come complete with hair and make-up by Ashley.Shelton.Hair so you feel like your most beautiful self.

What could be more fun than a gorgeous, intimate photography session? A boudoir party with all your best girl friends! Boudoir Parties are a brilliant way to celebrate while creating timelessly, beautiful images. They are perfect for bachelorette parties, birthday parties or just an amazing, one-of-a-kind night in/out with your girls.

  • The party will take place in a luxury hotel room, which creates the ultimate atmosphere.

Chicago Wedding Photographer | Bachelorette Party with Cupcakes and Wine

I recently flew to Santa Barbara to throw my sister a lovely bachelorette party. We went on a cupcake and wine tasting tour with Santa Barbara Adventure Company and had an amazing time! We tasted at three wineries, had a beautiful catered lunch and ended the day with a cupcake flight at Sarloos and Sons. I mean look at those decadent mini cupcakes, they were so rich. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip, well maybe a little bit less rain ; )

Chicago Engagement Photographer | So very close…

I was so thrilled when this couple told me they wanted their dogs to be a part of their portrait session. Right now, Cosmo and I have a four-legged baby, if and when we ever find ourselves in front of the camera he will absolutely be there with us! So needless to say adding two dogs to an engagement session makes things a little more difficult! We had a blast and you can just feel the love radiated through this couple. The bottom image is my absolute favorite. Every time they go to the dog park they walk across this fallen tree – so it’s kind of like their own family tree. Love, love, love!!!
